Jonn Hoppe appointed to Board of Directors for Arts on the Park
Jonn Hoppe is appointed to the Board of Directors for Arts on the Park. Located at 115 North Kentucky Avenue, Lakeland, Arts on the Park is one of the oldest buildings in downtown Lakeland. The historic building provides a Members Gallery and the Skylight Gallery, which may also be used for classes or special events.
In 2011, several classes will be held in both the upstairs and downstairs galleries. This fresh perspective for the gallery also largely benefits the contributing artists in the Lakeland and Polk communities. Arts On the Park is the only gallery in Lakeland offering juried monthly art shows. It’s a great way for emerging artists to get their feet wet in the art world. It also allows experienced artists to stay connected to the local art community.
