Jack P. Brandon receives Chairman Award from the CFDC of Polk County, Florida

Jack P. Brandon received the Chairman’s Award at the annual meeting of the Central Florida Development Council of Polk County, Florida (CFDC) held at the Streamsong Resort on October 3, 2014. Greg Ruthven, Chairman, presented the award to Jack Brandon of the Lake Wales Law Office of Peterson & Myers in appreciation for his outstanding service and leadership to the CFDC. Jack has served as Secretary and Treasurer and is currently counsel to the Board. He was instrumental in drafting the memorandum of understanding with Polk County and the Tax Abatement Ordinance, which was approved by the Polk County Board of County Commissioners. This ordinance has been on the forefront in expansion of existing businesses and the recruitment of new businesses in Polk County.
