Peterson & Myers, P.A. received the Carl F. Durso Excellence in Business award at the Lake Wales Area Chamber of Commerce meeting held on Friday, September 20, 2013. Jack Brandon accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

Peterson & Myers has offices in Lakeland, Winter Haven and Lake Wales, and has the largest number of lawyers of any law firm exclusively located in Polk County. The firm was founded in 1948 in Lake Wales, opened a Lakeland office in 1977 and added the Winter Haven location in 1983. It now employs 27 lawyers and 34 other employees.
