Joshua K. Brown

Josh Brown was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College in May 2000, and served as an intern at the Tenth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office. Mr. Brown earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in May 2003. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami, and he was awarded the School of Law’s prestigious Order of the Coif.

Mr. Brown was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003. He is also admitted to practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. He was recently appointed to serve a four-year term on the Florida Bar’s Civil Procedure Rules Committee. Mr. Brown serves on the Tenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee, as well as the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce’s Governmental Affairs Committee and Business Voice Political Action Committee. He serves as a volunteer for the Tenth Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem program, and he represents pro bono clients as a volunteer attorney for Florida Rural Legal Services.

Mr. Brown practices in the areas of general civil litigation, commercial litigation, employment law, commercial trucking litigation, and personal injury and wrongful death. He practices in the firm’s Lake Wales office.
