Education

Mr. Sellars received his bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College in 2012, summa cum laude, where he received the Most Outstanding Business Administration Major Award from the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise. Upon graduation from Florida Southern, he attended Stetson University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2015, summa cum laude, graduating in the top two percent of his class.

During his time at Stetson, Mr. Sellars was an Associate Justice for Stetson’s nationally awarded Moot Court Board, a Senior Associate of the Stetson Law Review and a teaching assistant for Legal Research & Writing. While a member of the Moot Court Board, he won numerous awards at moot court competitions across the nation including: National Champion, 2015 Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship; Best Oralist, 2014 National Professional Responsibility Moot Court Competition; Best Brief and Finalist, 2014 Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition; Finalist, 2014 Information Technology and Privacy Moot Court Competition; and Semi-Finalist 2014 Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship.

While at Stetson, Mr. Sellars also received highest grade designations in the classes of Business Entities, Criminal Law, Employment Law, Professional Responsibility and Trial Advocacy. At graduation, he received the following awards: the Judge John M. Scheb Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award, the National Order of Scribes Award, the National Order of Barristers Award and the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
