To our clients, colleagues, and friends:
As everyone faces the rapidly evolving, severe, and disruptive effects of COVID-19, please know that Peterson & Myers will continue providing you with the same level of support and services as we have under normal circumstances. During the past several years, we have invested in technology, digital infrastructure, and data security that allows us to effectively work both in and away from our offices.
To promote the health, safety and well-being of our personnel, clients, families, colleagues, friends and communities, effective Monday, March 16, 2020, Peterson & Myers implemented a remote-working environment in which many of our attorneys and personnel are now working from home. Our decision to implement a remote-working protocol was based on guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to minimize exposure to, and the spread of, COVID-19.
Many of our personnel have worked remotely from home and other locations for many years. We have proven remote-working technology and are confident in our ability to provide continuity of services in this challenging health and economic environment.
Working remotely will not reduce our availability to our clients and colleagues, nor will it change how we may be contacted. We can still be contacted at and through our same email addresses and phone numbers, but we will more frequently use teleconferencing to communicate with clients and colleagues as compared to having in-person meetings.
For now, our offices remain open for critical services that require personal meetings with attorneys, witnesses, and notaries. However, whenever possible we will follow the CDC guidelines and suggested social distancing strategies to play our part in preventing workplace exposure to COVID-19.
We remain flexible in adapting to the changing COVID-19 environment, and we will provide updated information on our website as events continue to unfold.
From everyone at Peterson & Myers, we thank you for your continued business, friendship, and support. We wish everyone well as we work together to address and defeat the health risks associated with COVID-19.
